Dear Sirs,
I am a trader in Mediterranean bitumen market and I am in contact with a big construction company that is also a big cement consumer.
Their cement consumption is about 2.5 million tons per year and today they are supplied by domestic production, but I know that they are trying to optimize their supply, looking at possible import alternatives.
I could operate as an intermediary on the basis of a brokerage fee.
My strenght in this potential business is the very very good introduction in this cement consumer that could allow me to address their choice for the supplier, provided that CIF prices could be at least comparable with the ones currently paid.
They can receive lots of 12.500 mt of bulk product in each of their several production sites, located in the European side of Med sea, and ask for a first cargo trial to evaluate the quality of the product and the reliability of the supplier.
